What's to come....The more recent times have also seen an increase in town activity and that of motel occupancy due to mining exploration and drilling. This is due to a record iron ore find and also that of reportedly high grade bauxite in the area as well as activity involved with the impementation of the gas pipeline to Gladstone and also a Macarthur Coal venture .
